Thats the sound they get & I like it a lot.Ī decent CD, but not worth all the hype. The best original song here is "Diana"- If you never heard it,take Journey, Asia, Boston and Kansas and throw them in a blender. I'm a big Eric Clapton fan, and I can tell you if he's heard the version of "Layla" thats on this CD, his jaw must have hit the floor! Its that good. They really take the best styles of that era and come up with some very fresh music. This band is so 1980's.but I mean that in a GOOD way. The only bad thing about this cd: only 9 tracks! It leaves you wanting more.whats there is great,great stuff. I happen to be a big Boston fan and damn if these guys don't nail their sound exactly! I happen to also like Blues, and this band covers that base pretty well also. But this cd caught my ear when I first heard it-the recording quality is very high, and the quality of musicianship was excellent.

But thats unfair- this band has a very unique sound, NOT simply just another 80's band.
